We at Paws N Pals know just the amount of effort it can take to get your pet properly trained. With so many options now in regards to training styles, tools and techniques, we have a list of dog trainers we highly recommend in the local area that we have had seen great success with. We recommend these trainers when your dog is unable to pass our behavioral assessment test, or if your dog passes our behavior assessment test, but later becomes difficult to work with or disrupts our dog group and needs certain behaviors modified or worked on. By going to a certified professional dog trainer, your dog can be taught how to handle stressful situations and think critically on their own to make more informed decisions, but it cannot be only the effort of the trainer. The parent must reinforce the new training methods, new routines and continued repetition at home to see positive results that last. Once your dog has seen an improvement, we will allow for re-evaluation of your pet into our doggy daycare group. You are eligible 90 days after your dog was put on probation by us. In special cases a dog may be expelled from our doggy daycare facility because of extreme behavioral conditions and, therefore, we reserve the right to not re-evaluate the dog after 90 days.
Owning a dog is not always simple. Sometimes they grow into or develop undesirable behaviors that need the attention of a trainer. This doesn’t mean you failed as an owner or that your dog is a bad dog. Just as kids pick up habits from their friends, your pets can, too! By pinpointing undesired behaviors in daycare, parents can look through our trainers to find someone that can aid in further training needs. Regardless of if your pup is ready for basic puppy classes or your pup has developed a bad habit and needs training, together we can find the right fit for your needs!
